A morning hike

Sunday morning Ryder had the great idea of going for a hike. There is seriously nothing better than some fresh air & beautiful scenery with the one you love. It was so nice to just experience God's creations right along side my best friend & husband. Hope everyone had a great weekend & also has a great week!

Lunch Adventure

Just a nice little stroll on my lunch break the other day.. It was torture going back to work after being out in the breeze & sunshine. However, it did make for a better last half of the work day.

Prez day

A little late on this post.. Monday was a holiday so we did a little exploring of the area since we are still not that familiar with it. Ryder found some amazing springs and just pure beauty in nature on his morning bike ride, so he took me to see them later that day. (after a Starbucks stop of course). That afternoon we also went kayaking. I have no picture evidence since I was paranoid that my camera or phone would end up in the lake. It's almost Friday!!

liveSTRONG

The LiveSTRONG Austin Marathon and Half Marathon was yesterday. I ran the half and had a blast. Improved my time from my last half by 8 minutes. It's such a great race for an even better cause. My lovely husband and our baby (dog) were there to support. My parents also came in to watch and support. My mom's birthday was on Wednesday so we also got to celebrate that! Hope everyone had a great weekend! I know I did.

So this has been such a long week because husband is already settled in our new apartment while I am finishing up work. Today is my last day of work so tomorrow I will be off to our new adventure in our new city! I have been in this small town for about 18 years. Lots of people who grow up here in Nederland never leave. Different strokes for different folks, right? We are beyond excited to start our new adventure. Who knows what is in store for our future. Nederland has been a great town to grow up in.. home to lots of my friends and family. So please feel free to follow us to Austin, everyone!

moooooved!

We moved! We are more excited than anyone could probably even comprehend. Moving was exhausting; but it is such an exciting time that we were not phased by it. Luckily we had the help of some husband's good friends and my parents. The only downside to this post is that I had to come back to our old town yesterday. I will finish my job here on Thursday, then I will move permanently. cannot wait!! Hope the week doesn't drag by. I am missing him so much! Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Awesome news! Husband and I are moving! It's our first move as a married couple. And to a completely new city, 4 hours away. We are pumped, as you can imagine. So obviously this weekend will include packing. and lot's more packing. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
