Weekend in review..

This weekend was great! My parents came to visit us & we got to show them around our new 'stomping grounds'. On Saturday the sun was out & you didn't even need to wear a jacket. It was so refreshing! We took them to Oklahoma City to Bricktown to site see & eat dinner. (BBQ never ceases to disappoint us.) It's always nice to recharge & have a good visit with family. Now on to laundry & other fun adult stuff. :)

Holiday Festivities

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! My birthday was last weekend & we had a blast. It's always great to get to spend extra time with Ryder & to also see family. We hosted Christmas for our first time & it was so fun! Lots of work, but so much fun. Ryder made the best turkey ever. Now we are trying to recover from our food-coma. Have a great rest of the week!

Thanksgiving recap

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We spent it with some of my family and it was so nice. Good food and great company. We also decorated our tree last week! Love the holidays.

My cousin & his amazing (seriously we love her) wife had the sweetest baby boy recently. I can't think of a couple who deserves a sweeter boy or a boy who deserves sweeter parents! Oh & if you couldn't tell they are devout A&M fans.. We won't hold it against them. :)

Clayton's take southeast Texas..

This past weekend our little family (Ryder, me, & Sheldon duh) drove to Nederland for our nephews third birthday. We had lots of fun seeing everyone and just enjoying the weekend. I am sure you can tell how crafty my sister in law is. I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Oklahoma

We had a great weekend. We went and visited Ryder's parents in Oklahoma! It was a rainy, relaxing weekend. On the way back home we got to meet up with our friend Tony who we had not seen since we moved. Hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great week!

Father's Day

It was a great weekend! Spent time with friends and also family. Sorry i have been absent from the blogosphere. I started a new job last week! Have a great week.

It was a busy weekend.

First our weekend started in college station at Texas A&M where my cousin graduated and then was commissioned as an officer in the Navy. A huge accomplishment obviously. Then a couple of days later I did a triathlon! My incredibly athletic husband inspired me to give it a shot. It was a blast. It was an all women's triathlon on Mother's Day. 300m swim, 11 mile bike, 2 mile run. We ended the weekend in the historic town of Gruene which we LOVE. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
