8 months

I cannot believe we have been married 8 months! In some ways it feels like just yesterday we were wedding planning, but it seems like a lifetime ago that I was living under my parents roof. I truly cannot imagine not being married to this amazing man. Of course not every day is a fairy tale, but every single day I wake up to someone that I love more than anything in the world.. And this person loves me just as much.

I'm laying on the couch and I can hear him fiddling around in the other room and it's the most comforting thing in the world. Marriage is such a beautiful thing to be treasured.

Have a great weekend!

Summer Travels

Ryder & I are so pumped! He just signed up for Ironman Timberman 70.3 in Gilford, New Hampshire, which takes place in late August. I absolutely LOVE the east coast and Ryder has been wanting to visit the area. Neither one of us has ever been to New Hampshire. So it will be a trip for his race that we make into a small vacation. What are your summer plans? It's always nice to have something to look forward to.

two weeks notice

Two weeks notice... The hardest thing EVER! I was so relieved and excited to receive a job offer that was just better all around in every aspect. Two weeks never sounds like a long time at all, but when you give a two week notice... oh, how the time drags on and on. Thursday will be my last day and the end of my two weeks notice, and Monday I will start my new job. So here's to new opportunities and enjoying the time, even when it seems to be dragging on much too long. Time is precious.
