We moved! We are more excited than anyone could probably even comprehend. Moving was exhausting; but it is such an exciting time that we were not phased by it. Luckily we had the help of some husband's good friends and my parents. The only downside to this post is that I had to come back to our old town yesterday. I will finish my job here on Thursday, then I will move permanently. cannot wait!! Hope the week doesn't drag by. I am missing him so much! Hope everyone else had a great weekend!
Thanks to all of the great blogs I have been following, I was introduced to my new favorite store. Frock Candy has trendy and great priced clothes, accessories, and shoes. These are some of my favorites. Check out the rest of the shop at: www.frockcandy.com
Politics.. Probably what we will be hearing mostly about until November. Then we will hear complaints for months and years after the election about who won. Then, the cycle will start all over after that. Until the end of time. No matter what, there are always going to be people who do not like our President.. I'm already feeling like facebook and twitter are going to be very annoying in the upcoming months. It gets irritating when people use their personal social networking sites to get up on their soapbox and quote whatever they heard on the news or whatever their friends/family say. I just hope that everyone will support their President. No matter their race, religion, or political party.
Awesome news! Husband and I are moving! It's our first move as a married couple. And to a completely new city, 4 hours away. We are pumped, as you can imagine. So obviously this weekend will include packing. and lot's more packing. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Awkard *falling asleep on husband's shoulder before 9 pm and doing one of those loud snores that wakes yourself up; him asking "was that fake?" and me saying "i wish i could say it was.." *being ready to eat my lunch by 10 am. * as husband and me are being toured around an apartment he responds to the leasing lady "true dat" when she makes a comment.. him then realizing that he actually said that aloud.. in public.
Awesome *coffee in the mornings. and afternoons. *husband and my new found addiction to the tv show, 'the big bang theory'. hilarious! *i just joined twitter. i know i'm a little behind on the times; but it's so interesting! *cutie clementines. awesome. and cute. *'the office' and 'up all night' are on tonight. *it's already thursday! ---Hope everyone has a awesome, and probably slightly awkward Thursday!
So glad it is Wednesday already! Husband and me were in Austin the past couple days. Hoping to move there by the end of the month. SO happy doesn't even explain our excitement! Here are some pictures from our trip... Enjoy!
Awkward: -Eating some extra spicy jalapenos in my burrito last night... then having to ice my lips, while slightly crying. Needless to say, I dug the rest of the jalapenos out of the burrito. -Anytime I have to burp in front of the husband, I do it.. as loud as I can. Awkward realizing that used to I would do all I could to hold it in so he wouldn't hear. Or is that awesome..? -The huge zit on my forehead. Kind of looks like a horn. Thank goodness for bangs. Awesome: -Husband and me are going to AUSTIN this weekend. Crossing our fingers to get good news and then move!! All grown up. -Bringing my lunch to work. I just love it. oh and husband made my sandwich. -It's almost Friday!! -Tina Fey's book, 'Bossypants' ....awesome.
Lovely 70 degree weather in January. Good ol' Southeast Texas. I had a great weekend with my love. Friday night we cooked and watched 'The Changeup'. It was pretty funny, but raunchy. Saturday we went out on a date. Olive Garden for dinner & coffee, then went to the movie to see 'The Sitter'. Super funny movie, we loved it. I'm still trying to get a feel for the bloggin' world. Hope everyone's weekend was fabulous! Later y'all.
It's true. We don't eat meat. We have been meatless since December 2010. and... I LOVE it! I love how it makes me feel clean and light. However, we do eat fish. So last night I baked some Maji Maji patties from Whole Foods (the best place in the world) and put them on whole grain bread and added some veggies. It was so delish. You should try it! Always a big accomplishment to work all day and still have dinner on the table when husband gets home.(domestic diva in the making)
